I have always found absolute joy in anything that allowed me to get creative. I started taking pictures as a child with anything I could get my hands on. I remember staging photo shoots with my sister as a toddler and always making my friends stop so I could capture a moment or scene with my cellphone as soon as it was fancy enough to have a camera (sorry guys). I had the opportunity to take a photo class while I was in high school and that is when I really fell in love with the entire process and got my very first professional camera.
Photography continued as a hobby while I went to school and started my career. As I said, I enjoy flexing my creative brain, and I quickly decided my original major was a no go. I wanted to combine my love for cars and art into a profession and that is exactly what I did, I became an automotive painter. Photography quickly morphed from a hobby to a professional endeavor in 2017 when I began taking clients. In 2019 I began specializing in newborn photography. For the last few years I have done both, but found my heart leaning more towards photography and ALL the babies. Earlier this year, I took a leap of faith and decided to set the spray gun down and dive head first into full time photography, and here we are! I still paint, I still ride my horse, and I still spend my days with my Nova girl, but my main focus is my art and I am HERE for it.
